Good Morning Vietnam

We arrived in Vietnam late on Monday night. It was hard to get a feel of the city until we walked out in the morning. Vietnam has cornered the scooter market - move over Italy. There are over 4 million scooters in Saigon yet nobody has road rage. The image of Ho Chi Minh overlooks the beautiful French colonial building.
This is the refrigerator delivery truck. We have seen everything from huge sheets of plate glass to construction equipment on a scooter.
At the war remeberance museum lots of up close views of US military equipment.
Viewing the torture techniques and tiger cages shown below the Vietnamese should be really pissed off. These barbed wire "tiger cages" used to house 3-5 people permanently crouched down or lying in the dirt.
China town
Today we visied the Cu Chi tunnels. This is the size of the opening of the tunnel. Once inside it is pitch black.
The best part of the Cu Chi tunnels is that you get to shoot off the gun of your choice. This is the first bullet I have ever shot.

What an experience you are having there in Vietnam, amazing to think how man can be so inhumane to one another all in the cause of an ideology. Enjoy the journey.
