If you guessed that there are clouds in the sky then you are right. It is May 28th for God's sake and the temperature is 59 degrees outside. Almost unheard of, the average for May is 75 degrees and by now we should be seeing 80 degree days. Is is possible that we brought back New Zealand weather with us?Speaking of bringing stuff back, we finally extricated our baggage from the Contraband Enforcement team of the Department of Homeland Security. Our dirty laundry that was shipped back on a slow boat sent the sniffer dogs wild. We managed to fit our entire belongings in the back of the Subaru.
We are finally back in our house. It was just great to have somewhere to call home.
Fred's first task was to check out Vesuvius - all 40,000 BTUs. After two years of near total neglect it sprung back to life effortlessly. Our first meal back at the house - New Zealand lamb and asparagus.
Now we just have to figure out how to get the contents of our house back in the house.

Great to see you have arrived home safely. Pity about bringing back the cold NZ weather. Boy it certainly got a lot colder and wetter during the last couple of weeks. Not long now before we head off to Europe. take care. Mike
